The “Filter Collection” action in PowerTools for Microsoft Power Apps allows form designers to find and isolate matching entries in a collection.

ConvFor example, a list of values that include “Pineapple Pizza”, “Pepperoni Pizza”, and “Hamburger” could be filtered by setting the “Keywords” action value to “Pizza” and the “Match” value to “Any”. This would produce a result of “Pineapple Pizza” and “Pepperoni Pizza”, eliminating “Hamburger” from the resulting collection.

Conversely, by setting the “Match” value to “None”, the result would contain only one value – “Hamburger”.

To match a specific item, such as “Pepperoni Pizza”, the match entry would be set to “All” and the keyword to “Pepperoni Pizza”, would remove the other two items from the result.
