It’s time for a change! In our latest round of updates, not only are we bringing you a number of new actions across most of our product lines but also an entirely new way to purchase, consume and manage PowerTools subscriptions. We’ve been hard at work making things better, easier, and more affordable! Read on for all the details.
The New Apptigent Store
When we released our first PowerTools product, we wanted to get it into your hands as quickly as possible, so we chose a middleware platform that met our basic needs without a lot of bells and whistles. That platform, along with the legacy customer portal, has served us well but we’re pushing the boundaries of its capabilities and felt we could do better – so we have!
The new Apptigent Store is much simpler, easier to navigate, and integrated with our web site. Purchasing and managing subscriptions is greatly streamlined – no more juggling apps and client ID’s or bouncing between subscription options and product documentation. Everything is now in one place, making it much easier to find the right product and plan that meets your needs.
In addition, we’ve added single-key licensing, at-a-glance consumption metrics, and simple upgrade/downgrade options. Please note that the existing legacy customer portal will continue to operate at least until the end of this calendar year. Existing subscribers will receive a series of emails with step-by-step instructions for migrating to the new platform.
New Pricing Plans
Customers have told us that they appreciate the flexibility of being able to choose between multiple consumption tiers as needed but that a number of utilization patterns don’t fit into our daily plan limits. Some have burstable needs that exceed daily but not monthly limits, others have seasonal requirements with several months in a row of increased utilization compared to the rest of the year, and a range of other non-conforming situations.
In response, we have switched all plans to monthly, instead of daily, consumption limits. With easier upgrade/downgrade options in the new store and more flexibility in creating custom plans to meet unique scenarios, we believe this approach makes much more sense. Take a look at the new pricing structure for our monthly consumption plans and let us know if there is anything else we can do to fit your particular requirements.
But we didn’t stop there. We have also revamped our Enterprise subscription offerings for very high consumption scenarios. Now, a single Enterprise subscription covers all product offerings in the PowerTools lineup. If, for example, you are a global enterprise who makes significant use of Microsoft Power Platform and Salesforce, one subscription now provides unlimited usage on both platforms, providing significant savings over the previous licensing model. The more products you use, the greater the overall savings. In addition, we now offer a range of Enterprise pricing tiers so smaller customers with occasional heavy usage demands or affiliated companies with distinct billing requirements can take advantage of the Enterprise discounts. Product Updates
New actions are available across all of our product lines except PowerTools for Salesforce (which will receive a separate major update next quarter), increasing the total number of actions to more than 100. That’s a lot of PowerTools!. Please the table below for a complete list.

Note to existing subscribers
As part of our migration away from the legacy customer portal, the base URL's for all of our API endpoints (actions and features) have changed. Upgrading to the latest release may require reconfiguration of existing connections or code. Previous versions will continue to operate without interruption but will not include any new features going forward. Click the button below to review the full API documentation.
